Originating during the Warring States period, Yangzhou lacquerware flourished during the Qin and Han Dynasties and prospered during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It has won a high reputation at home and abroad for its equisite artistic style and wonderful workmanship for more than one thousand years.

Founded in 1955, Yangzhou Lacquerware Factory is a key enterprise among the national lacquerware industry and has the right of self-operating import and export business. The factory’s decorative techniques can be classified into ten categories ---“lacquer carving” ,lacquer carving inlaid with jade”, “lacquer engraving”, “bone-and-stone inlaying ”, “mother-of-pearl polishing”, “mother-of-pearl dotting”, ”decoration with colored drawings”, “filling up knife”, “polished lacquer painting” and “wood carving inlaying”, which have established its irreplaceable  position  in  China’s arts  and  crafts  circles.  We  have  traditional  excellent  products  such as floor

screen, screens, hanging panels, desk screens, furniture and so on, with no lack of lacquer paintings, wall paintings, gifts, indoor artwork, tourist souvenirs, etc., which conform the modern men’s aesthetic appeal and practical demands and have various kinds and are magnificent. The lacquer handicraft articles of “Lacquer Flower” brand (famous trade mark of Jiangsu Province ) have won many international and domestic Gold and Silver Medals and are sold to over 60 countries and regions in the world. Our products also sell well on the domestic tourist, gift and large construction decoration markets. Over the years, about 100 pieces of Yangzhou lacquerware excellent products have been selected as national gifts or displayed and collected in the Great Hall of the People and other important places.
